To New Members
Albert Sailing Club is a community based club which is funded and operated by members, with senior (adults), family, student, pensioner, junior, and social categories of membership. New members are always welcome.
We have sailing all year round, with Saturday being the club's main sailing day. Information about the club and how it operates including Sailing, Learn to Sail and Training programs can be found under the various tabs listed across the top of the website Home screen.
Albert Sailing Club like many sailing clubs has an membership year from 1 October to 30 September. Membership fees for 2024-2025 are listed by category in Membership Fees 2024-2025
There is NO additional joining fee on top of Membership Fees for new members for 2024-2025.
Prospective members are advised that one aspect of being a member of a volunteer sailing club involves a contribution to the actual operation of the club. Members will be rostered on to assisting with sailing operations from time to time. For those who are members but not active sailors, a contribution to the operation of the club in some other capacity from time to time is expected.
What if you join the club in 2025 part-way through a membership year?
Full-year fees apply for applications received between 1 October and 31 March. Half yearly fees apply for applications received between 1 April and 30 June. To benefit from this reduction during that time period, use the discount code FEE50% in the Discount Code box during the application process. For applications from 1 July until 30 September, a full-year fee is charged but your membership will be extended until 1 October of the following year.
