ASC 2020 Winter Season 

The delayed Winter Season on Albert Park Lake commenced with a Trophy Race on saturday 4th July.
Suspended on 8th July when COVID9 Stage 3 restrictions re-introduced for Melbourne Metro area.

Program will commence again when restrictions are eased.

Winter Season
Division starts from 2pm, with Information Session 45 minutes prior.
Trophy Races on saturdays in July, then Winter Series races from start of August.

The program and format of both on-water and on the foreshore will update with changes in current Victorian Government and Australian Sailing COVID19 regulations and prescriptions and how the current situation impacts Albert Sailing Club. ​​​​​​​

For the start of the winter season from 4 July :
* Races will be over short courses at the northern end of Albert Park Lake.
* Starts will be from jetty or a Start boat, and there will be reduced on-water patrol boat support.
* Boat rigging in defined areas at northern and southern ends of ASC, with limit of 20 people per group.
* Come dressed for sailing, and leave in sailing clothes. Changerooms only
 be used if really needed, with showers not available.
* Everyone sailing or visting the club is required to Sign In on sheets provided in club foyer.
* Everyone asked to not come if unwell, to maintain appropriate social distancing and use wipes provided for cleaning of shared surfaces they come in contact with.
* Club open for a maximum of 20 people at a time in clubrooms, with up to 10 on decking. Galley to open late July/early August.
* Weekly fee of $10 per fee for all visiting boats.  Multi-week fee, upon application.

These arrangements will be updated as COVID19 prescriptions and general situation changes.

Albert Sailing Club sails an annual winter sailing program for monohull dinghy classes on Albert Park Lake on saturday afternoons from May to September. Adult and junior members of Victorian clubs are invited to sail with the ASC fleet in our winter season. Information Sessions at 1.15 and club races from 2pm. Also junior Optimist and Laser 4.7 class training programs, on dates to be confirmed

The 2019 winter program included :

* Winter Series on saturdays from 15 June to 24 August.

* 2 day 
annual ASC Winter Regatta in late June. 

* 3 race Bill Hooper series across September

Undercover boat racking available on middle and top level racks. This option can be booked with Winter Associate Registration.

ASC is first clubhouse come to on Aquatic Drive in Albert Park Reserve. Club races start at 2pm each week, with an Information Session at 1.15pm.
