MEMBER VEHICLE PARKING PERMITS
All members that visit the club annually at least 15 times per year or at least 8 times per half year should consider a Parks Victoria Vehicle Parking Permit.
These are economical and convenient.
In February 2026 the process for obtaining a new Parking Permit was changed from a Form based to an online Digital process using the Parking Permits portal on
the website PARKS VICTORIA – ALBERT PARK PARKING PERMITS
The website has :
* The current hourly and daily parking fees.
* Details of types and fees for discounted parking permits for Albert Park sports clubs members, businesses and tradespeople.
* How to apply for an online Parking Permit.
Some additional points for Albert Sailing club members.
* In applying for a Sports Club Permit you need to specify which Albert Park club you are a member of from a pick list. For now Albert Sailing Club members need to select Albert Park Sailing Club until the system is updated to show Albert Sailing Club on the list.
* In the online process you need to attach evidence of Albert Sailing Club membership :
For annual members
- The best document is to save and upload the ‘Albert Sailing Club Payment Receipt’ issued by ‘Albert Sailing Club. This was emailed to you following payment of your Invoice for 2025/26 (Invoices issued on or after 19 Sept. 2025).
- If you cannot locate the email with your annual membership receipt you can go into your membership record on https://albertsailingclub.wildapricot.org/
- Last resort is to contact membership@albertsc.org.au for a copy of your receipt.
For winter members
- If you are a member of another sailing club and register as an Albert Sailing Club winter associate (www.albertsc.org.au Join the Club tab) you can apply through the Parks Victoria portal for a half year Sports Club Parking Permit or a Junior Sports Club permit if a parent of a junior Winter Associate. If doing so select ‘Albert Park Sailing Club’ from the online pick list and attach a copy of the Winter Associate 2026 email receipt.
Visitors from other clubs who have not taken out Albert Sailing Club Winter Associate membership are not able to apply for an annual or six monthly parking permit. They need to purchase daily parking ‘tickets; from machines in Aquatic Drive behind sailing club buildings. This applies where family member(s) are sailing in a Winter Coaching program (VIODA), or in a our Regatta or a small number of club races, and have not taken out Albert Sailing Club Winter Associate membership.
